| Originally the innkeeper's quarters, this area of the inn was unused when we purchased the inn. We immediately made plans to convert this area into a suite. Using some creative carpentry, we added a new entrance to the room (the door into the room originally went through the kitchen). This is a two room corner suite which offers a living room with a Queen Sized pull-out sofa bed and a separate bedroom with Queen Sized Canopy Bed. The dimensions of the bedroom are 15 1/2 x 16 1/2; the living room measures 15 1/2 x 13 feet. This suite is located in the back corner of the house and has three large windows. The carpeting is a soft peach color. The walls are painted in a light peach with pink grapefruit colored trim. The bedroom has a locally crafted armoire for hanging clothes. In the armoire, we provide two plush robes for our guests' use. The living room has the sofa bed and two other sitting chairs. The bathroom is large and has extra drawer and medicine cabinet space to store toiletries. The layout of this room makes it a good choice for families with children since there are separate rooms to sleep. |
